XTEND wins Phase III contract for special operations drones

Tampa, Florida - XTEND AI Robotics, a technology company, has secured Phase III of a prestigious contract from the U.S. Special Operations Command. This achievement enables the company to further develop precision-strike unmanned systems for the nation's Special Operations Forces. The contract follows XTEND's recognition as a top performer in the Close-Quarters Battle segment of Gauntlet II, a competition under the U.S. Department of War's Drone Dominance Program.

The Modular Kinetic Lethal Drone (MKLD) solution merges XTEND's Striker, Scorpio 500 and Scorpio 1000 platforms with a unified Ground Control Station and the company's proprietary XOS operating system. Designed for tactical units, this system provides adaptable, recoverable, and reusable precision-strike capabilities in various operational environments, including indoor, confined-space, urban, and outdoor situations.

Aviv Shapira, CEO and Co-Founder of XTEND, expressed excitement about the milestone, stating that the company aims to empower Warfighters with robotic capabilities that enhance their reach and effectiveness while minimizing risks from human operators.
