Anup Soni, a former actor on the long-running Indian crime thriller Crime Patrol, has hinted at the possibility of a return to the series in future seasons. Speaking with Variety India, Soni said, "There are many seasons of Crime Patrol. I'm sure there will be a season when I'll return." However, he did not comment on whether he would participate in the current season.
Soni also discussed his upcoming projects, Shaque and The Vvaan, both featuring him in different roles. He elaborated on the popularity of crime thrillers worldwide, stating that while the genre remains successful, quality storytelling is crucial for success. In April 2018, Soni had previously opened up about his departure from Crime Patrol after eight years, stating that he wished to focus more on his acting career, as his commitment to the show limited his availability for other projects.
