Ukraine Recaptured Almost All Territory Russia Gained in 2026, Zelensky Says
President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia captured approximately 890 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory in 2026, while Ukraine retook around 800 square kilometers on other parts of the front. According to his figures, Moscow achieved a net territorial advantage of only about 100 square kilometers despite suffering heavy losses.
