UiPath announces platform updates for enterprise automation

LAS VEGAS - UiPath, Inc. (NYSE:PATH) unveiled updates to its automation platform on Wednesday, per a press release. The company debuted UiPath Coding Agents for general availability, allowing teams to construct and refine automations via natural language queries. Compatible coding agents comprise Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and Antigravity.

Additionally, UiPath unveiled Delegate, a productivity agent catering to administrative and software testing tasks. This agent aids testers in gathering context, transferring data between systems, updating records, and drafting summaries, while preserving testers' authority over quality decisions and final approvals. UiPath extended its Data Fabric and Integration Service portfolio.

The Integration Service incorporated four new features: Database Hub for accessing systems like SQL Server and Oracle, Relay for integrating cloud automations with on-premises systems, Third-Party Credential Store for leveraging existing enterprise credential stores, and MCP Connector for invoking tools on compatible MCP servers.

Data Fabric now facilitates connectivity to external sources such as Salesforce and SAP through Federated Entities, complete with an audit trail and without duplicating underlying data. UiPath introduced governance controls encompassing Model Hub for tracking model usage, Runtime Checker for verifying agent behavior against policies, LLM-as-Judge Guardrail for assessing outputs, Compliance Packs for aligning with regulatory standards, and Identity & Access Policies for managing resource access.

The company also made Automation Suite compatible with Linux, offering organizations on-premises deployment choices for the comprehensive platform. Raghu Malpani, UiPath's Chief Product and Technology Officer, stated, "Our platform provides customers the roadmap they need to chart the right course for agentic transformation, at the pace and context their enterprise requires."
