UAE weather forecast: Temperatures to hit 45°C as fog, mist expected through Sunday

Dubai, UAE: For the upcoming week, temperatures are set to soar, potentially hitting 45°C in certain regions before climbing higher on Thursday, according to forecasts from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Wednesday is expected to be partly cloudy, with chances of convective clouds developing in the afternoon, particularly in eastern and southern areas.

The weather will become humid overnight and into Thursday, potentially bringing mist to some western areas. Internal areas will experience temperatures between 43°C and 45°C, while coastal regions and islands will see highs of 37°C to 42°C. Mountainous areas will be cooler, with temperatures ranging from 29°C to 35°C. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally strengthening to 35 km/h in internal and mountainous locations.

The trend of rising temperatures continues on Thursday, with fair to partly cloudy conditions persisting across the UAE. Overnight and into Friday morning, humidity will increase, and a chance of fog or mist remains, particularly over coastal and internal areas. Winds are forecast to reach up to 30 km/h. On Sunday, generally fair conditions are predicted, with clouds possibly forming over eastern areas.

Overnight and into Monday morning, fog or mist could develop over coastal and internal regions. Throughout the period, the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to remain relatively slight.
