Trump pursues last-ditch hunt for voter fraud

The Trump administration is preparing for a potential wave of arrests and prosecutions over alleged non-citizen voter fraud leading up to Election Day. Hundreds of federal investigators and attorneys have been deployed to pursue this long-standing issue, with the Justice Department designating it as a top priority. Across the country, there are now 1,600 open cases of potential voter fraud, with 160 people arrested so far.

Homeland Security Investigations agents have been combing through voter data to identify ineligible voters, and the FBI has been assisting in these investigations. The administration plans to significantly increase the number of prosecutions leading up to the election, with a department official stating that the number of arrests will rise each week until voting day.
