The year 2026 has seen Singapore Airlines claim the top spot in the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards, unseating the previous champion, Qatar Airways. This prestigious accolade is awarded to airlines based on a comprehensive survey of passenger satisfaction, covering crucial aspects such as cabin service, ground and airport experience, and onboard product. The ranking is weighted to account for passenger volumes, ensuring a fair assessment for airlines of all sizes.

Asian and Middle Eastern carriers have demonstrated a strong presence in the global rankings, occupying many of the top 10 positions. Qatar Airways secured the second place, while Cathay Pacific Airways, ANA All Nippon Airways, and Turkish Airlines followed in the third, fourth, and fifth positions, respectively. Emirates earned the sixth place, Air France claimed the seventh, China's Hainan Airlines was placed eighth, Japan Airlines was ninth, and Korean Air rounded out the top 10.
