Ted Danson's A Man On The Inside To End With Season 3 At Netflix — Nick Offerman, Bernadette Peters, Stephen Root Among New Cast

Netflix has announced that the popular comedy A Man on the Inside will conclude with Season 3, which has already commenced filming in San Francisco. The series, created by and executive produced by Michael Schur, follows the story of a retired man, Charles Nieuwendyk, who answers a help wanted ad and embarks on a journey to rediscover life.

As creator and executive producer Schur puts it, "We are thrilled to be able to conclude his journey with one final chapter, as embodied by the great Ted Danson, who I am legally required to refer to as a National Treasure."

Season 3 will see the introduction of eight new guest stars, including Nick Offerman, Bernadette Peters, and Emmy winner Stephen Root. Offerman will portray Jack Spencer, a dedicated employee of Coco Van Beck (played by Bernadette Peters), while Stephen Root will play Charles's estranged brother, Dave. Other new cast members include Annette O'Toole as Kitt, a long-time friend of Coco, Christopher McDonald as Leland, a former ex-husband of Coco, Diedrich Bader as Mark Delaurio, a powerful real estate developer, and Jessica St. Clair as Chloe, a friend of Emily who helps her navigate parenthood.

Several characters will return for the final season, such as Lilah Richcreek Estrada, Stephanie Beatriz, Eugene Cordero, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Sally Struthers, and Mary Steenburgen. The TVLine Scorecard has been updated to reflect Netflix's final-season announcement.
