Sybiha, South Korean Foreign Minister Discuss Deepening Bilateral Cooperation

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held discussions with South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun to explore ways to strengthen bilateral ties, particularly in relation to Ukraine and shared security concerns. Sybiha expressed gratitude to South Korea for its ongoing support of Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity, as well as for the humanitarian and financial aid provided, including a recent $100 million assistance package.

"We restated our shared dedication to enhancing political communication at the highest levels, broadening trade, economic, and investment cooperation, and encouraging Korean enterprises to participate in Ukraine's reconstruction initiatives," Sybiha stated. During the meeting, the ministers also tackled the common security threats posed by military and technical collaboration between Russia and North Korea, which they deemed a direct danger to Europe and the Indo-Pacific region.
