South African house party shooting kills 11, could be gang violence

Gunmen attacked a home in a Durban township in South Africa, killing 11 people early Wednesday evening. The victims, including a pregnant woman, were gathered at the house when armed assailants entered and opened fire, according to Thamsanqa Ntuli, the premier of KwaZulu-Natal province. Acting police chief Puleng Dimpane has activated a 72-hour tracking operation to apprehend the perpetrators.
