Former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney has advised his former teammate Michael Carrick to adopt a more aggressive approach to management, warning that the successful managers of today are often "nasty" and willing to make tough decisions. Rooney, speaking on Stick to United, said that both Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho were known for their ruthlessness, as well as Pep Guardiola, who isn't afraid to make drastic changes to his squad if necessary.
