SAHIWAL: On Monday night, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) apprehended a suspect believed to be a RAW agent near New Ghala Mandi, Pakpattan city. An intelligence-led operation, spearheaded by Under Officer Fida Hussain, resulted in the arrest of Wajid Ali, a resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Bajur district. The suspect allegedly planned to carry out terror attacks on key installations near Pakpattan.
Upon raiding the suspect's location, CTD officials recovered a shoulder bag filled with 1,825 grams of explosives, as well as electronic devices, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and other incriminating materials.
