Ranthambore Tourism Season: Rajasthan Police Launches 24x7 Tourist Helpline From October 1

Rajasthan police have announced the launch of a 24/7 tourist helpline beginning October 1 to support domestic and international travelers visiting Sawai Madhopur and Ranthambore National Park. The round-the-clock helpline number is 07462-251251 and will be managed by the Superintendent of Police office.

The helpline will handle tourism inquiries, address visitor complaints, and coordinate with relevant departments to offer assistance. Superintending Police Officer Jyeshtha Maitreyi stated officers will be on-call to provide information, respond to grievances, and facilitate visitor requests.

The initiative coincides with the resumption of safari tourism in Ranthambore and other Rajasthan tiger reserves after the monsoon period. October is expected to be the peak tourist season, with many domestic and foreign visitors coming to see tigers and explore the park's attractions.

Through the helpline, tourists will receive details about the national park, historical and religious sites, safari rules, timings, and requirements. They will also get guidance on routes, local transport, and access to accommodations, restaurants, parking, food, water, and sanitation facilities.

Police officials said feedback from the helpline would be documented and sent to the relevant authorities to enhance tourism services. For complaints or assistance requests, the police aim to respond within 15 minutes for routine issues and promptly forward serious matters to appropriate departments.

Tourists are warned about fraudulent safari booking websites and phone numbers on Google. It is advised to book Ranthambore safaris only through the authorized Forest Department website or the designated office near the Roadways depot. Offline bookings should also be made through the designated window at the government office.
