Qatar Charity opens integrated health centre in Ferizaj to serve more than 200,000 people

Qatar Charity has opened an integrated health centre in Ferizaj, Kosovo, designed to serve over 200,000 people and enhance the local healthcare system. The facility, which spans approximately 1,560 sqm, includes various clinics and departments, such as family medicine, dentistry, mental health, and radiology. In addition to providing free essential healthcare services, the centre also offers medical treatments at low costs, making healthcare more accessible to all residents.

By consolidating preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services, the centre aims to reduce waiting times, enable early disease detection, and improve emergency response times, thus promoting sustainable health services and improving the quality of life for residents. As part of its broader efforts to expand healthcare services in Kosovo, Qatar Charity also inaugurated a new health centre in Malisheva municipality, serving about 5,000 people with essential healthcare services, including first aid, maternal and child healthcare, vaccinations, and medicines.

During the inauguration events, a delegation of Qatar Charity donors and volunteers engaged with sponsored orphans, participating in activities and sports, presenting artistic performances, and meeting teachers to discuss the orphans' educational and personal development. Qatar Charity's approach to orphan care emphasizes holistic support, fostering a sense of belonging, and encouraging children to develop their talents and aspirations confidently.

Ahmed al-Emadi, assistant director of the Identity and Communication Department at Qatar Charity, expressed satisfaction with the inauguration, crediting the donors for their generous contributions that made the health facility possible. He thanked the donors for their support and wished them rich rewards for their kindness.
