Public beta debuts for iPadOS 27.2 and more, here’s what’s new

Apple has rolled out a series of public beta updates today, including iPadOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, and more. This marks a busy week for Apple software releases, following the launch of major new versions for all users on Monday. The company also surprised users with 27.2 developer updates for all platforms on Wednesday. Beta 2, which was previously only available to developers, is now open to public beta testers.

iPadOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, and tvOS 27.2 are among the new releases now available for public testing. Both iPadOS and iOS share the most significant changes. iPadOS 27.2 introduces an all-new Health app with Apple Intelligence features such as Insights and Longevity tabs. The update also adds Profiles for the Apple TV app, a much-needed feature for parents who monitor their children's video consumption on iPads.

Additionally, iPadOS 27.2 brings over a Siri AI feature that was previously exclusive to macOS Golden Gate, and expands Siri AI support to a wider range of languages.
