Prince and Princess of Wales share a laugh with Tom Cruise at film premiere

Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the London premiere of Tom Cruise's film Digger on September 22, 2026, joining other notable guests including David Beckham and his sons Romeo and Cruz. The royal couple, both 44, arrived in black-tie attire at the ODEON Luxe, with Kate wearing a plum Jenny Packham gown and William opting for a black velvet jacket and bow tie.

During the event, William was seen chatting with David Beckham, while Kate engaged with Romeo and Cruz. Tom Cruise, who also attended the premiere, has a history of meeting the royal family, including their shared interest in aviation. The Beckhams have known William and Kate for years, with David attending their wedding in 2011 and Romeo meeting the royal family during England's Euro 2020 match against Germany.
