Pound Heads Toward Rs. 350s Against PKR

The Pakistani rupee (PKR) maintained its upward trajectory against the British Pound (GBP) on Wednesday, edging closer to the Rs. 365 mark. As the current trend persists, analysts predict the rupee could reach Rs. 365 against the GBP in the near future.

This positive momentum is not limited to the British Pound. The PKR also displayed strength against several other major currencies, including the US Dollar, Australian Dollar, Euro, Canadian Dollar, Chinese Yuan, Malaysian Ringgit, and Saudi Riyal. Notably, the rupee gained 88 paisas against the GBP and 23 paisas against the Australian Dollar.

The recent upward trend in the PKR against the GBP is part of a broader pattern that has persisted since December 25, 2025. Throughout this period, the rupee has consistently reported gains against the US Dollar. In addition to the GBP, the PKR also strengthened against the Euro, Canadian Dollar, Chinese Yuan, Malaysian Ringgit, and Saudi Riyal.
