Young's newfound confidence and rediscovered skills have been instrumental in the team's impressive offensive output, averaging 35.5 points and 312.5 passing yards per game. McMillan has been a key contributor to this success, receiving high praise from his teammates.

McMillan specifically commended his teammate Jalen Coker, stating that he is "the truth" and a "Swiss Army Knife" who can do everything on the field. Coker, who went undrafted in 2024, signed a three-year, $35 million contract extension with the Panthers in June.
