Palma.ai Secures $1.8M Pre-Seed Funding to Govern Enterprise AI Agents

Enterprise AI is transitioning beyond basic chatbots, with startups striving to provide autonomous agents direct access to critical company infrastructure. Palma.ai, co-founded by Patrick Eden and Julian Kolbe, has raised $1.8 million in pre-seed funding to tackle the security challenges posed by this shift. The round was led by D11Z, with participation from Plug and Play Ventures, Deel, Scale Now Ventures, and executives from Cisco and Deel.

As AI tools increasingly execute workflows independently, managing permissions across separate applications has become nearly impossible for traditional security teams. Palma.ai addresses this issue by introducing a centralized integration layer. The platform enables administrators to define policies, approved MCP tools, and recurring workflows across leading platforms such as Claude, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot.

Palma.ai enforces these rules dynamically at runtime, maintaining a tamper-evident audit trail for every transaction. With the funding, Palma.ai plans to expand its engineering and go-to-market teams to meet the growing demand for controlled AI workflows among enterprises.
