Nepo babies don’t have access to cash like Nigerians think – Davido’s sister, Sharon Adeleke

Sharon Adeleke, sister of renowned singer Davido and daughter of billionaire Deji Adeleke, has clarified a common misconception about wealthy individuals in Nigeria. In a recent interview on The Moraya Show, Sharon stated that children from affluent backgrounds, often referred to as 'Nepo babies,' do not possess unlimited access to cash as many believe.

According to Sharon, these individuals may receive generous gifts and assets from their parents, such as land and properties, but are nevertheless constrained by financial limitations. She emphasized that while Nepo babies may have an advantage over the average person, they must still manage their resources diligently. Sharon also revealed that she collaborates with Davido weekly to review his expenditures, expressing the importance of financial oversight for the young artist.

She further advised Davido to reconsider his spending on luxury vehicles, highlighting the necessity of prudent financial management for individuals from affluent backgrounds.
