NASS should impeach Tinubu – Atiku’s aide

Paul Ibe, a media aide to Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has urged the National Assembly to impeach President Bola Tinubu. Ibe argued that Tinubu's extended working vacation in Europe, without informing the National Assembly, violates the constitution. According to Section 151 of the constitution, if the president is unable to perform his duties, he must inform the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Ibe questioned whether Tinubu had done so, as it's been 23 days since his return, and he continues to rule Nigeria from abroad. In response, a presidential aide, Daniel Bwala, defended Tinubu, stating that the president can govern from any location worldwide.
