Milne, Bracewell return as New Zealand lose Ravindra for India T20s

New Zealand fast bowler Adam Milne and spin all-rounder Michael Bracewell have returned to the 16-man squad for the upcoming T20 series against India, according to the country's cricket board (NZC). The series, which includes five T20s, five one-day internationals (ODIs), and two tests, begins with a T20 match in Christchurch on October 22.

Thirteen members from the team that finished as runners-up to India in the T20 World Cup this year have been retained, while Milne and Bracewell are back after missing the tournament due to injury. However, Rachin Ravindra is ruled out of the T20 series after dislocating his right shoulder during a promotional shoot last week, but he is expected to play in the ODIs.

The return of Tim Seifert and Finn Allen, who previously played together as openers during New Zealand's run to the T20 World Cup final, adds to the squad's depth. Fast bowler Ben Sears is not considered for selection as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury. NZC coach Rob Walter expressed satisfaction with the squad's depth and intends to utilize all 16 squad members throughout the series while managing player workloads.
