Miguel Rojas voted Dodgers Roy Campanella Award winner again

Los Angeles — Veteran infielder Miguel Rojas has been named the 2026 winner of the Roy Campanella Award by his fellow Dodgers players and coaching staff. Rojas, a 37-year-old shortstop, has held the prestigious award since 2024 and 2025, becoming the first player to clinch three consecutive Campanella Awards. Only Justin Turner has won the award three times in the 21-year history of the honor, achieving the feat in 2017, 2019, and 2020.

Rojas is the first Dodgers player to speak before the clubhouse celebration last Thursday in Cincinnati, as the team secured the National League West title. The longtime infielder, who has played games at second base, shortstop, and third base this season, is batting .271/.311/.399 with a 93 wRC+ in 101 games and 243 plate appearances, including a strong .297/.340/.476 with a 122 wRC+ against left-handed pitching.

Rojas, acquired by the Dodgers prior to the 2023 season, has mentored young players and filled in across the infield for the past four years. He secured his place in Dodgers history with a game-tying home run in Game 7 of the 2025 World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Rojas signed a one-year, $5.5 million contract in December to return for his 13th and final season before joining the Dodgers front office, focusing on player development. Rojas expressed his desire to stay in coaching after his playing career ends.
