Melania Trump rings New York Stock Exchange opening bell to launch new women’s initiative Imperia

On Wednesday, Melania Trump rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to promote her new initiative called Imperia, aimed at helping women become leaders and achieve economic power. The first lady's initiative targets women who are CEOs, founders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and others in the business world.

During her promotion of Imperia, Trump highlighted the importance of women's roles in the global economy, emphasizing that they are not just participants but the foundation and infrastructure. She stressed that women have the potential to own businesses, equity, real estate, capital, and investment assets, as well as their ideas, intellectual property, and economic future.

In a recent interview on Fox News Channel’s "Fox & Friends," Trump addressed various topics, including the Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit, her efforts to reunite children separated from their families by the Russia-Ukraine war, her new docuseries, and her public engagements. Trump explained that she is working nonstop behind the scenes on numerous projects, particularly in the weeks leading up to Xi's visit.

As first lady, Trump played a significant role in planning Xi's visit, and President Trump personally greeted the leader at the White House, following their strong relationship. Trump also mentioned that her husband decided to greet Xi upon landing due to their strong rapport.

In July, Trump had helped reunite five groups of Ukrainian and Russian children with their families, showcasing her commitment to addressing global issues. She explained that her team is working on additional reunifications and that her focus remains on helping children recover from the heartbreaking experiences they have endured.

Earlier this year, Trump rang the opening bell at the NYSE in connection with the release of her Amazon documentary, "Melania," which provides a glimpse into her life during the weeks leading up to her husband's second inauguration. A new two-part docuseries featuring her will be released in the fall, offering additional insights and surprising revelations.
