Kashi To Showcase Banarasi Silk, GI Products & Traditional Crafts At UP International Trade Show

Firozabad, a city known for its glass industry, is set to make a significant international mark at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2026. The district's glassmakers are fully prepared to display their craftsmanship and innovation at the expo in Greater Noida.

Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government's One District-One Product (ODOP) and export promotion policies have opened up new avenues for local entrepreneurs and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). These initiatives have allowed artisans to connect directly with foreign buyers and tap into the global market.

At the trade show, a total of 46 leading entrepreneurs and emerging exporters from Firozabad will set up 54 stalls to exhibit the district's traditional and contemporary handicrafts. This includes a wide array of glass products, chandeliers, decorative items, and modern glassware. The industry will also showcase its unique artistry and modern technologies to buyers and business delegates from India and abroad.

In addition to the glass industry, other major sectors like dairy products, textile products, and garments will also have a strong presence at the expo. This broad participation aims to provide a new dimension to Firozabad's industrial landscape and boost its manufacturing capacity.
