Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia surprised Bengaluru residents when he entered the kitchen of popular Rameshwaram Cafe and attempted to make dosas. Videos shared by Scindia on social media showed the minister stepping behind the counter to interact with the restaurant's kitchen staff. He donned a white kurta and took control of the hot griddle, pouring dosa batter onto the tawa and attempting to spread it evenly in the traditional circular pattern. After preparing the dosa, he plated it with chutneys and served it to a customer.

Scindia's visit to the kitchen garnered mixed reactions on social media. While some users found the minister's attempt entertaining, others questioned aspects of the moment, focusing on kitchen hygiene and the absence of standard kitchen accessories like gloves and caps. Scindia acknowledged the challenge of making dosas, stating that preparing one is harder than it appears.
