‘Journey to Yourself’ launches ready-made travel routes across Ukraine, pilot trip in Mykolaiv region tested

The national program 'Journey to Yourself. Paths to Recovery' has introduced a new feature on the dosebe.travel platform, offering ready-made travel routes across Ukraine. This initiative aims to balance the load on popular destinations and diversify the travel experience for domestic tourists, according to Natalia Tabaka, Head of the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine. The program's main objective is to simplify trip planning for domestic tourists.

Mykolaiv region was selected as the inaugural destination for a pilot trip due to its "incredible potential" and the need for support and attention, Tabaka explained. The first ready-made route, developed in collaboration with the Resorts and Tourism Department of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, local communities, and tourism businesses, encompasses walking tours, master classes, and visits to craft producers.

The journey starts at the Hranitno-Stepove Pobuzhzhia regional landscape park, moves to creative workshops, local wineries, farms, and concludes with a return trip to nature along the Tyligul Estuary.

In August 2026, Ukrainian influencers such as Yevhen Klopotenko, Maks Uzol, Olia Manko, Yevhen Synelnykov, Oleksandr Teren, Alina Ostrovska, and Sofiia Bezverkha tested the route alongside the project team. The selected locations for these routes undergo rigorous selection by the project team, a commission, and an expert council, ensuring they align with the program's philosophy, criteria, and legal requirements. Only legally operating businesses that pay taxes and meet the program's mandatory criteria are included.

The dosebe.travel website now features accessibility markings, enabling people with disabilities and reduced mobility to plan their trips more easily. The platform, launched in test mode as a basic MVP version in August, will soon expand to include more features such as ready-made routes with verified participants, allowing users to travel comfortably while supporting local businesses.

The national 'Through Your Own to Yourself' campaign, launched on August 11 in cooperation with Saatchi&Saatchi Ukraine and supported by the Swiss-Ukrainian project UCORD, serves as a personal travel assistant to help users create customized recovery routes based on their individual needs, interests, and requests.
