International Marine Purchasing Association partners with Achilles Maritime Network, Supporting Greater Collaboration Across Maritime Supply Chains

The International Marine Purchasing Association (IMPA) has entered into a partnership with Achilles Maritime Network, a leading global organization in supply chain risk and performance management. IMPA, established in 1978, represents over 1,000 shipowners, ship managers, and maritime suppliers across more than 90 countries. The association strives to promote best practices, professional development, responsible procurement, and enhanced collaboration across maritime supply chains.

This new collaboration will expand the Achilles Maritime Network's reach, benefiting maritime supply chain professionals and organizations.

The partnership aims to explore opportunities to support the Achilles Maritime Network, which focuses on advancing decarbonisation, improving supply chain transparency, addressing stakeholder expectations, and navigating emerging legislation. By combining IMPA's global community of maritime professionals with Achilles's expertise in supply chain risk management, the collaboration will create chances for IMPA members to engage with the network as suppliers or buyers.
