Indore Police Take Preventive Action Against 14 Habitual Offenders Before Festivals

Indore police have taken preventive measures against 14 habitual offenders before the upcoming festivals. Seven of these offenders have been expelled from Indore and neighboring districts, while the remaining seven have been placed under restriction orders. The decisions were made after officials reviewed cases against the offenders under the Madhya Pradesh State Security Act, 1990.

The offenders, whose criminal records include multiple cases, have continued their activities despite previous preventive actions. Those expelled include Haroon Rangeela, Tanveer Qureshi, Abhishek, Himanshu, Goldy, Laxmikant, and Arun. Their expulsion periods range from three to six months, and they are prohibited from entering the revenue limits of Indore, including urban, rural areas, and adjacent districts during their expulsion.

Seven offenders are under restriction orders, including Shubham Dangi, Rohit, Mohit, Bharat, Vikas, Rohit Boyat, and Kartik Kalyane. Their restrictions will last from three months to one year, and they must report regularly to the appropriate police station, avoiding criminal or illegal activities and any actions that could disturb public peace or law and order. Violations of these conditions will result in further legal action.

ADPO Ajay Pratap Bundela represented the government in these cases. Indore's Curryeves and Apna Sweets were among three eateries inspected for food safety, with samples of butter paneer and mixed vegetables sent for testing.
