Hanuman Ansh on OTT: Where and when can you stream it? Makers deny Rs 100-crore deal rumours
Most films leave theatres and head to a streaming app within weeks. Hanuman Ansh is doing the opposite and holding on to the big screen for as long as it can. The film, inspired by the life of the saint Neem Karoli Baba, has become one of Indian cinema's most unlikely box-office stories. As its theatrical run continues, the question fans keep asking is simple: when does it come to OTT, and on…
The movie Hanuman Ansh, based on the life of saint Neem Karoli Baba, is currently making waves on Indian cinema screens. It has become one of the most successful box-office stories in recent times, emerging as a profitable film despite its low production budget. As fans eagerly await its transition to OTT platforms, the producers remain tight-lipped about the decision.
No specific streaming platform or date has been announced yet, with the producers stating that they are awaiting a response from director Vishal Chaturvedi. Producer Ragini Sona revealed that multiple offers for the streaming rights have been received, but she does not believe that a deal worth Rs 100 crore, as previously rumored, is in the pipeline.
Sona emphasized that the film is designed for the big screen experience, where viewers can remain undisturbed to fully immerse themselves in the narrative. She noted how the film's scenes, including Neem Karoli Baba's recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa, evoke a trance-like response from the audience.
The producers have set their sights on achieving a 100-day theatrical run, a rare feat in the current streaming era. Despite the film's remarkable success, Sona remains confident that the longer the film stays in theaters, the better it will perform. Once the 100-day mark is reached, the team anticipates a long wait before the film becomes available on OTT platforms.
