Global enterprise AI startup Brahma raises $150m

Brahma AI, an enterprise AI company, has secured a $150 million funding round, with Multiples Alternate Asset Management leading the investment. The round saw Multiples invest $100 million through preferred shares, and Brahma AI receive an additional $100 million in interest from other investors. The company currently serves major clientele like Warner Bros, the NBA, and Mayo Clinic.

Strategic distribution partners of Brahma AI include Google, Hakuhodo, and DNEG. Founded and led by Prabhu Narasimhan, Brahma AI harnesses technology and expertise from DNEG, Metaphysic, and Prime Focus Technologies. Narasimhan holds the positions of Founder and CEO, while Jo Plaete serves as Co-founder and CTO, managing the technology and R&D division.

Brahma AI's AI-native platform consists of Brahma AI Core and Brahma AI Studio. The technology integrates enterprise content intelligence and management with AI creation capabilities, such as visual AI, digital humans, voice, and multilingual performance. The company aims to revolutionize the content supply chain in the age of AI.

Multiples Private Equity views the company's growth as an active partner in investments in R&D, global market expansion, and talent & process build-out, according to Renuka Ramnath, Founder, MD & CEO of Multiples. Brahma AI plans to broaden its technology into new use cases, including the development of interactive digital humans and making its platform model agnostic.

Security, authenticity, and provenance are key focuses for the company. Narasimhan further stated, "We are close to launching interactive digital humans, we are building Brahma AI to be model agnostic, and we are venturing into entirely new use cases. Security, authenticity, and provenance are fundamental aspects of what we are developing."
