Firms Host Customers on AI Enabled Security Solutions

Quomodo Systems Africa, in partnership with Checkpoint Systems, recently hosted a customers' engagement forum in Lagos to discuss AI-enabled security solutions tailored for the oil and gas sector. The event, titled 'Secure Today, Resilient Tomorrow', aimed to showcase how intelligent security and advanced technology can help organizations stay ahead in an ever-changing digital landscape. Quomodo, a Nigerian technology consulting and systems delivery firm, presented AI's crucial role in securing the oil and gas industry.

Quomodo's Chief Financial Officer, Olufunke Tonye-Preghafi, emphasized that the focus on the oil and gas sector stemmed from its significant influence on the Nigerian economy. She noted a rising trend of attacks in this industry and pointed out that smaller companies are often targeted as a stepping stone to larger organizations. Tonye-Preghafi revealed that Quomodo's research indicated many attackers were disregarding smaller firms, viewing them merely as a pathway to bigger targets.
