Elizabeth Holmes sheds single tear in 1st full trailer for Nathan Fielder doc

Nathan Fielder and Elizabeth Holmes are set to star in the upcoming documentary You Can See Everything. The film, produced by A24, is about Holmes, the former founder of Theranos, a blood-testing startup that was found guilty of fraud and conspiracy in 2022. Holmes served an 11-year prison sentence in May 2023, which has since been reduced.

The documentary is led by co-director Nathan Fielder, who lived with Holmes and her family during filming. He acts as the host, interviewer, and narrator of the film. The trailer for You Can See Everything has arrived, giving viewers a glimpse into the world of Holmes and her significant other, Billy Evans.

Holmes has admitted to making mistakes but denies criminal wrongdoing. In the trailer, she expresses confusion over her conviction, saying, "I don't know. I don't feel like I understand that." Fielder challenges her, asking how she ended up as a convicted felon if she did nothing wrong. Holmes responds, "I wish I knew, you know?"

Evans, who is the heir to a family hotel business, is depicted as a narcissist in the trailer. He admits that he fell in love with Holmes upon their first conversation, but questions whether he was aware of Theranos' fraudulent activities. He maintains that he doesn't believe Holmes has ever lied to him.

The documentary promises to be a mind-bending mystery-thriller as it delves into the life of Holmes and her family during her imprisonment. You Can See Everything is set to release in theaters on October 16.
