CBSE To Conduct Class 12 Board Exams In 40 Subjects For West Asia Students After Papers Cancelled Due To War

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will administer Class 12 board exams in 40 subjects for candidates in West Asia, following the cancellation of examinations in seven Gulf nations due to the ongoing war. The decision was made by CBSE after the special assessment scheme was implemented. Prior to the results, CBSE had declared the outcomes for regular candidates from West Asian countries on May 13, along with other Class 12 students in India and abroad.

The assessment scheme allowed students dissatisfied with their results to be given the opportunity to appear in the cancelled subjects. CBSE will now conduct examinations for all affected Class 12 candidates in the 40 subjects that were previously cancelled, and candidates can choose the subjects of their preference. The examination results will be final and will replace the earlier performance.

The examination date and schedule will be communicated once the forms are completed. No examination fee will be charged, and examination centers will remain the same. No post-result declaration facilities will be provided.
