Recognizing the importance of trust in one of the world's oldest hobbies, eBay is expanding its Authenticity Guarantee program to raw (ungraded) U.S. coins valued over $500, in collaboration with the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) to conduct multi-point physical inspections. For eBay, extending its Authenticity Guarantee to coins addresses buyer hesitations related to authenticity, condition, and grading, which are crucial for building trust in high-value items.
