Adobe Premiere Comes to Android With Free 4K Editing: Here’s What You Get for Free

Adobe has introduced its full-featured video editor, Premiere, to Android devices, giving creators a powerful tool for free multi-track editing. The app supports watermark-free 4K exports and offers a range of creator tools, including video, music, voiceover, text, and effect layering. Additionally, Adobe is integrating AI-powered audio cleanup and social video features, such as YouTube Shorts templates and direct publishing tools.

The Android version of Premiere requires Android 13 or later with at least 5GB of RAM and is available for free on compatible devices. While the core editing tools and 4K exports are free, Adobe's AI tools via Firefly require credits, with 250 free credits offered monthly. Adobe designed the Android interface to adapt across various screen sizes, including phones, tablets, and foldables, ensuring a seamless editing experience.

This move positions Adobe Premiere as a strong contender among established mobile video editors, challenging apps like CapCut, YouTube Create, and Meta's Edits. By offering a free core editor, Adobe aims to attract creators who edit and publish directly on their Android devices, streamlining their production workflow.
