AAP, Left parties renew ‘vote chori’ allegations

Both the AAP and the CPI(M) have renewed their allegations of vote manipulation, or "vote chori," against the BJP, citing recent revelations about the SIR process. The AAP described the deletion of voters from electoral rolls through the SIR process as the "biggest scam in independent India," with AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal demanding the arrest of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, whom he called the "chief" of vote chori.

The Left parties, CPI(M) and CPI, also called for Kumar's removal, questioning the integrity of the Election Commission. Both parties have urged the removal of Kumar and the annulment of SIR where found unlawful, citing over 13 crore names reportedly struck off draft rolls across 30 States and Union Territories.
