A mass shooting at a house party in South Africa kills 11, including a pregnant woman

In a late-night incident on Tuesday, a house party in KwaMakhutha township, South Africa, turned into a mass shooting that left at least 11 people dead, including a pregnant woman, and three others wounded, police reported on Wednesday. The attack occurred around 30 kilometers (19 miles) south of Durban, on the east coast. The guests gathered at the house for festivities when the suspects entered and began firing their weapons.

Ten victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while a 11th person died later at the hospital. The police have not disclosed the condition of the three wounded individuals. Authorities are currently searching for the gunmen, who remain at large, and no arrests have been made so far.
