‘A Man on the Inside’ to End With Season 3 at Netflix

The popular Netflix comedy series, "A Man on the Inside," will conclude after three seasons, TheWrap has confirmed. The show's creator and executive producer, Mike Schur, announced that the final chapter featuring the well-known actor Ted Danson will be brought to a close. Danson plays Charles Nieuwendyk, a retiree who found a new purpose in life after answering a help-wanted ad and venturing out into the world. Schur praised Danson, referring to him as a "National Treasure."

Season 3 of the show will introduce some high-profile guest stars. Broadway star Bernadette Peters will portray Coco Van Beck, a prominent figure in San Francisco society who hires Charles to investigate a saboteur targeting her charity work. Nick Offerman and Annette O’Toole will join the cast as well, playing Jack Spencer and one of Coco's high society friends, respectively. The guest list also includes Christopher McDonald, Diedrick Bader, Rachel Dratch, Stephen Root, and Jessica St. Clair.

Danson, alongside the returning cast of Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, Stephanie Beatriz, Eugene Cordero, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Sally Struthers, and Mary Steenburgen, will lead the ensemble. Steenburgen previously portrayed Charles' love interest, Mona, in Season 2. The series has garnered significant attention, with Season 2 premiering last November and amassing over 51 million views across both seasons by mid-2026. Filming for the final season is currently underway in California.
