2027: OK movement vows not to surrender structure to NDC

The Obi-Kwankwaso Movement, also known as the OK Movement, has vowed to maintain its independence and structures in the lead-up to the 2027 election. Director-General John Ughulu made the statement in response to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) National Leader, Senator Seriake Dickson, who had criticized the movement's establishment of a presidential campaign council.

Ughulu emphasized that the OK Movement is an independent political organisation, distinct from conventional support groups, and that it comprises members from various political parties who support the NDC presidential candidates, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso. He further rejected Dickson's description of the movement's decision to establish a campaign council as "nonsensical" and assured that the movement would retain its organisational independence and internal administration.
