Nishat Mills Limited and D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited have entered into agreements for installing solar power plants and battery energy storage systems at their respective manufacturing sites. These projects are set to commence power generation in March 2027. Nishat Mills has partnered with EBR Energy Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited, Sungrow Power Supply Co. Collectively, these initiatives will increase solar generation capacity by 45MW and battery storage by 45MWh across both facilities.

Both companies submitted the necessary information to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on September 23, 2026, as required by securities disclosure regulations. The operational launch of these solar projects is anticipated in March 2027.
