The White House recently launched a 24/7 streaming platform called "Trump TV," featuring past speeches, announcements, and updates from former President Donald Trump. The platform is streamed continuously and updated in real-time, providing a centralized location for presidential content. Trump TV is now accessible 24/7 through various devices like phones and televisions.
The platform features significant moments from Trump's presidency, such as his swearing-in ceremony as the 47th President of the United States. The launch of Trump TV comes amid a dispute between the Trump administration and major news organizations, including CNN, Politico, and MS NOW, over White House press access. Trump defended the restrictions imposed on these outlets, dismissing claims of a potential boycott and emphasizing the media's obligation to report fairly.
The White House maintains that while the First Amendment protects the media's right to publish, it does not guarantee access to the White House grounds, briefing room, or presidential press pool.
