US 'looksmaxxer' known as 'Clavicular' charged with rape

An influential figure in the online looksmaxxing community, identified as Braden Eric Peters, 20, is currently facing rape charges in Massachusetts, according to court documents. Peters, who goes by the name "Clavicular," is accused of rape, drugging a person for sexual intercourse, and procuring alcohol while underage. He is set to appear in Orleans District Court on October 14, as reported by AFP.

The alleged incidents took place in May 2025 at his family residence on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. A 17-year-old girl, whose name is not disclosed, is alleged to be the victim. If convicted of rape, Peters could serve a maximum of 20 years in state prison and would be required to register as a sex offender. Looksmaxxing influencers, a subset of the broader manosphere online community, have gained significant traction on social media platforms, capitalizing on the insecurities of young men seeking to enhance their physical appearance.

Peters, like many of his peers, promotes pseudoscientific methods and monetizes his influence through endorsements of various consumer products.
