This ‘NBA Jam’ Arcade Cabinet Lets You Play the Retro Basketball Game at Home

Basketball enthusiasts can now bring the excitement of the NBA Jam arcade game into their homes with a new arcade cabinet. This vintage-inspired machine, available at Amazon and Walmart, lets you play NBA Jam, NBA Tournament Edition, and NBA Jam Hang Time in one or two-player action. Standing over five-feet tall, the cabinet features a 17-inch full-color screen and built-in speakers that provide loud sound effects and fan noise from the original video game.

Players can control the action with a joystick and buttons for blocking, passing, and stealing, as well as a "turbo" mode button. Although the cabinet features a faux coin panel, it's strictly plug-and-play, with no coins required. The NBA Jam stand-up arcade game is an officially licensed release from Arcade1Up, known for its recreation of classic arcade games.
