Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule expressed relief on Tuesday that he is not among the list of governors, according to the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, who are allegedly in conflict with him. This comment came from Governor Sule in an interview on TVC, in relation to the ongoing political dispute between Wike and certain All Progressives Congress (APC) governors.
These governors are part of the Rainbow Coalition leading up to the 2027 general elections. It should be noted that Wike had previously named three APC governors – Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun – on Monday as being in conflict with him. Governor Sule responded to this by expressing gratitude that he is not on Wike's list.
He also mentioned that Wike, being a minister in the current administration, is not an APC member. Governor Sule questioned the purpose of the alliance, suggesting that the Governors' Forum message may have been misunderstood.
