Tanah rizab Melayu Selangor meningkat 1084.55 hektar sejak 2018

Selangor's Tanah Rizab Melayu area expanded by 1,084.55 hectares (2,680 acres) since 2018, according to Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari. This increase brings the total Tanah Rizab Melayu land in the state from 162,161.98 hectares (400,711 acres) to 163,246.54 hectares (403,391 acres) under his administration. This was announced by Amirudin in a statement addressing concerns regarding the status of Tanah Rizab Melayu in Sabak Bernam.

Amirudin clarified that 22.41 hectares (55.401 acres) of land in Tanjong Karang, Sabak Bernam, designated as Tanah Rizab Melayu, was granted through a deed dated 3 September 2026. This land was allocated for the Sabda Development Region, aimed at boosting food security and promoting agro-tourism along Selangor's western coastal area.

The move also seeks to create employment opportunities for local residents, according to Amirudin. The initiative is managed by the Selangor state government's corporation, the Chief Minister's Office, and involves local community members such as fishermen, entrepreneurs, and academics.
