Susthira Kollam project launched by Minister Bindhu Krishna

Bono East Regional Minister Francis Owusu Antwi has expressed deep concern over the slow progress on the Kwame Danso 24-hour economy market project, stating that the contractor's performance is "highly unacceptable." During an inspection in the Sene West District on September 22, the Minister demanded that the contractor close a 15-percentage-point gap within one month or face sanctions.

The contractor had only completed five percent of the project, falling short of the anticipated 20 percent. Despite assurances from the contractor that they would work to bridge the gap, the Minister warned that failure to improve would result in action being taken against them. District Chief Executive Khaari Fuseini acknowledged the project's importance to the local economy and its strategic location, stating that residents and traders are eagerly awaiting its completion.
