Super Star Launches E-Motorcycle With Honda 125’s Power and Design

Super Star has introduced the Shark Electric motorcycle to the Pakistani market, offering a traditional 125-style electric bike option. The motorcycle can be purchased with two battery options, each equipped with a 2,000W electric motor. The 72V 30Ah version starts at Rs. 290,000, while the larger 72V 40Ah variant is priced at Rs. 325,000. Both models use LiFePO4 batteries and come with features like riding modes, reverse mode, a digital meter, and disc brakes.

The 72V 30Ah Shark Electric boasts a claimed range of 80-100 km and a maximum speed of up to 120 km/h, while the 72V 40Ah version extends the range to 100-120 km with the same top speed. The motorcycle's most significant distinction from other electric scooters in Pakistan is its conventional motorcycle design, complete with 17-inch alloy wheels and a seating position similar to traditional 70cc and 125cc petrol-powered motorcycles.

This layout caters to riders who wish to transition to electric power without changing to a scooter-style platform.

The Shark Electric offers two riding modes: Economy and Sport. Economy mode prioritizes range, while Sport mode provides enhanced performance. A reverse mode facilitates easier maneuvering in tight spaces. The digital instrument panel shows battery charge, speed, and gear position. An 8A charger is included with the motorcycle, which comes with a three-year or 18,000 km warranty, whichever expires first.
