Russia is spending jet-powered drones on Ukraine’s toilet-paper factory. It’s same campaign that has destroyed 2.1 million square meters of Ukraine’s warehouses

Russia has struck a Ukrainian toilet-paper manufacturer's warehouse complex for the second time in as many months, according to Snow Panda, the brand behind its products. The latest attack occurred on September 22nd, destroying the company's facilities again, though its workers emerged unscathed. This represents a broader, systematic campaign by Russia against Ukraine's civilian infrastructure, targeting warehouses used by retailers, food companies, drugmakers, and couriers.

Snow Panda, a brand solely focused on household paper goods, has now been hit twice, and each time its storage has been destroyed or dispersed, making the next target. The company emphasized that the most crucial outcome was the safety of its employees. The first Russian strike on the plant occurred on July 1st, causing significant damage and wounding workers.

Prior to that, in June, a Russian missile had struck the company's main hub in Odesa Oblast, where it stored goods for distribution across Ukraine. Russia's strategy involves targeting civilian warehouses, distribution centers, and railways, causing supply disruptions for various industries. This pattern of destruction extends beyond Snow Panda, affecting retailers, grocery chains, pharmaceutical distributors, and more, compelling companies to disperse their stock to avoid further strikes.
