Realme Launches Harry Potter Earbuds With 50dB ANC, Nearly Two-Month Battery

Realme has launched a special edition of its Buds T500 Pro wireless earbuds in India, themed after the Harry Potter franchise. Priced at $73, the Harry Potter-Inspired Design features a Magic Brown earbud housing with silicone tips, brushed gold stems, and Hogwarts crest engravings. The charging case boasts a faux leather, dark coffee-brown finish, complete with a gold Hogwarts crest and a "Welcome to Hogwarts" engraving on the hinge.

Accompanying the earbuds is a leatherette protective case that resembles a vintage Hogwarts student travel trunk, featuring brass corner rivets and a woven lanyard cord. The Realme Link app offers Harry Potter-themed UI elements, custom connection sounds, and audio presets inspired by the franchise.

In terms of audio performance, the earbuds utilize 12.4mm dynamic drivers and Hi-Res Wireless Audio via the LHDC 5.0 codec, delivering up to 24-bit/96kHz quality. Active noise cancellation (ANC) is rated at 50dB and employs a hybrid system covering a 5,000Hz frequency range, complemented by AI-based real-time fit compensation for dynamic noise reduction.

With a 530mAh charging case, the earbuds can offer up to 56 hours of total playback without ANC enabled. Each earbud houses a 62mAh battery, providing approximately 13.5 hours of playback on a single charge.

The earbuds incorporate six microphones for enhanced call quality through environmental noise reduction. They support Bluetooth 6.1, 45ms low-latency audio, and multipoint connectivity with up to three devices. Additional features include an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance, a two-way Live Translator, and MindFlow mode, which aims to promote focus and relaxation during use.
